Description of Ingredients:
Purified Water
– The first known natural hydrating moisturizer.
Water is essential for proper functioning of the skin.
Aloe Vera Gel –
A natural hydrating moisturizer. The molecular
structure allows the aloe gel to penetrate the skin,
supplying moisture directly to the tissue. Other
properties include moisture regulation and an apparent
ability to absorb UV light thus helping guard against
sun damage to the skin which can cause lines, wrinkles
and skin cancers.
Butylene Glycol
and Extract Blends - The antimicrobial
activity of the butylene glycol combined with the
special fruit extracts of Vaccinium Myrtillus,
Saccharum Officinarum, Acer Saccharinum, Citrus
Aurantium Dulcis and Citrus Medica Limonum,
synergistically work to soften and exfoliate dry and
dead skin cells which may help to smooth lines and
diminish wrinkles.
Hydrolyzed
Elastin – Helps penetrate epidermal layers
and improve overall skin appearance, softness and
suppleness. Also acts as a surface protective
agent alleviating the effects of dry skin, enhancing
flexibility, improving feel, increasing and improving
the tension of the skin and influencing formation of
tropocollagen fibers when used with soluble collagen.
Soluble Collagen
– Its great hydration potential has the amazing
ability to bind and retain many times its weight in
water. This water-binding and retention ability
makes collagen effective as a protecting agent. As
a film former, collagen aids in reducing natural
moisture loss, thereby helping hydrate the skin. When
combined with Elastin, the two form a binder
strengthening the skin.
Ubiquinone
(Coenzyme Q-10) – Powerful antioxidant
properties help to brighten and deliver clarity to the
skin.
Hydrolyzed
Glycosaminoglycans – Contains moisturizing
and firming properties that reportedly leave the skin
smooth and soft and minimize wrinkle appearance. The
small molecular structure allows easy penetration into
the outer epidermal layers. Recognized as helpful
to stressed and aging skin.
Panthenol
– Derived from the Pro-Vitamin B-5 complex group. It
helps deliver vital nutrients at the intercellular
level and stimulates cellular proliferation and aids
in tissue repair. Considered a noncomedogenic.
Allantoin
– Derived from the comfrey root, it is considered
nonallergenic. It is believed to aid in the
healing of damaged skin by stimulating new tissue
growth.
Sodium PCA (Ajidew
NaPCA) - Due to the moisture binding ability it
is recognized as a high performing humectant. It
is considered nonallergenic and noncomedogenic and
helpful for dry, delicate and sensitive skin types.
Sodium
Hyaluronate – Capable of binding 1800 times
its own weight in water, sodium hyaluronate is used as
a moisturizing agent, viscosifier and emulsifier.
Triethanolamine
– a pH balancer
Ascorbic Acid
(Vitamin C) – A well know antioxidant, which
helps in repairing free radical damage and adds
protection against UVB damage which can also help
counteract premature aging and skin cancers. Vitamin C
also acts as a collagen biosynthesis regulator. It
is known to control intercellular colloidal substances
such as collagen, and when formulated into the proper
vehicles, can have a skin-lightening effect.
Salvia
Officinalis (Sage) Oil – Contains
antibacterial properties. The Sage Oil is
obtained by distillation of sage leaves and flowers to
produce the essential oil needed for the calming
aroma.
