Pharmacology of Prexamed™

Prexamed™ was developed through a proprietary process that requires the pollen of 10,000 plant tops to produce one kilogram of extract. All possible allergens and impurities are removed, and then a very sophisticated process is used to extract out the hydrophilic and the lipophilic fractions, both of are active in genitor-urinary tract issues. For example, the lipophilic fraction has demonstrated an inhibition of the 5-alpha-reductase (responsible for the production of DHT) as well as the cyclooxygenase pathway, which is involved in the inflammatory process. The hydrophilic fraction has demonstrated anti-proliferative actions against the prostate cells. In other words, it helps to defend the prostate against problematic cell growth.
